we practiced writing Yy's on the MagnaDoodle today!
Ms. Brooke and I created an obstacle course during Open Play today.
they had a blast!
they first had to crawl through the tunnel...
then walk up and down stairs...
hop on the lily pads like a frog...
weave in and out of the cones...
walk the plank...
and finally do somersaults on the mats!

we read Hush! A Thai Lullaby today and discussed lullabies.
we followed the baby's travels through the book while the mother and the animals kept him from napping.
such a fun story!
"In an endearing lullaby, a mother asks a lizard, a monkey, and a water buffalo to be quiet and not disturb her sleeping baby."
in limited centers, the students wrote about Hush! A Thai Lullaby, played Hully Gully, How Many?, and the environmental print matching game.
