today's snapshot

we started practicing writing the letter Uu today.

we also put some finishing touches on our handprint leprechauns.

we to a campus field trip to Bibb Graves auditorium to watch Birmingham Children's Theatre put The Three Little Kittens. it was wonderful! we saw a lot of familiar faces watching to play, too!

before the play, we read The Three Little Kittens by Paul Galdone and afterwards we created a Venn diagram comparing the book we read and the play.

this afternoon we wrote in journals and played in learning centers

last week's snapshot

we finished up our clothing unit last week. we watched the eBook Who Wears What? and guessed who belonged to each uniform.

we fingerpainted Tt's

we discussed what the weather was for the day and the students had to draw the weather for their journal in the afternoon.

we also got started on our handprint leprechauns :)
