this morning we practiced writing Cc's in the rice tray and had music with Ms. Poole.
and here is yesterday's question of the day.
we started a new chapter book today. I read a chapter after lunch each day to quiet our bodies and minds for quiet time.
my elementary school librarian, Ms. Clarke, read this to us many years ago and I still remember loving going to the library and what it looked like. I still love reading!
"The Aldens begin their adventure by making a home in a boxcar. Their goal is to stay together, and in the process they find a grandfather."
in afternoon centers, the students built with no-ends...
played games on the smartboard...
and listened to Chicka, Chicka, 123 at the listening center.
this afternoon in the library, the students made a self puppet and a puppet of a family member they like to do things with. tomorrow the students will use the puppets to put on a puppet show for us!
they also listened to The Biggest Nose.
