Wednesday's snapshot

B was feeling much better this morning and I am glad to be back. I am very fortunate to have a job and students that I miss when I am not able to be at school.
we had some messy fun fingerpainting Ll's this morning!

we also learned "Larry the Lizard" and Stepped Up and circled Ll's.

we began our "Who wears special clothes to work" investigation today and added to our web.

we also read Who Wears What? by Judith Bauer Stamper and the students had to guess the person by looking at only a few items of clothing.

our question of the day:

in limited centers, we played with some uniforms we borrowed from Dr. Minear's classroom.
we have cheerleader, doctor, dancer, construction worker, football, and baseball items to enjoy.

we also enjoyed playing games on Starfall. especially the Turkey game!

we also borrowed a set of paper dolls which are actually magnetic. and not paper anymore. :)

I also introduced the color (we fingerpainted) by number process to the class. they all did a great job!
