we began practicing today writing the letter Mm correctly.
we read Mama and Papa Have a Store and discussed the types of items sold in the store. We also talked about items we saw in the book that we also have in our dramatic play center.
question of the day:
we had practice for our Christmas Program with Mr. Williams this afternoon.
we are learning Venite Adoremus, Silent Night, and Dashing Through the Snow.
in limited centers, we made circle stamped pumpkins. I found this idea on I Heart Crafty Things' website.
first the students cut out their pumpkin...
then dipped the end of a toilet paper roll in orange paint and stamped circles on their pumpkin...
and lastly, cut out a stem and glued it to their pumpkin.
the Dean of the College of Education donated costumes to the school today.
the students loved dressing up as Mike and Strawberry Shortcake!
great addition to our dramatic play center during our clothing study!
and Dr. Hocutt, a professor in Instructional Leader Support, stopped by yesterday and read us a story during our library time. :)
