Tuesday's snapshot

we practiced writing Mm's on whiteboards this morning...

and played a fun Pumpkin Pie Counting Game!
the students identified a number and put that number of whipped creams on top of their pumpkin pie.

we had lots of fun playing games with Mr. Phillip and Mr. Nathaniel, our PE majors this semester.

we had a discussion during large group about the clothes our family members wear.
instead of reading Uncle Nacho's Hat again, I asked the students to retell it to me by "reading" the pictures.
we talked about when Uncle Nacho said he's heart might break, what that meant, and that it was a figure of speech.

question of the day:

during limited centers, the students worked on our "I Am Thankful" classroom book.
it will start coming home today. please send it back so all of our families can enjoy it. :)

the students also had free draw...

and used blocks to make clothing stores, Laundromats, and dry cleaners

Dr. Hocutt visited us today and read us a version of The Little Red Hen.

then the students made T tractors.

DON'T FORGET TO WEAR BLUE TOMORROW FOR OUR CLOTHING STUDY :D
