part of today I can tell you all about. and that would be our morning.
we started the morning by making 5's with play-doh and counting 1-to-1.
here is a picture of one of our final projects I found on Pinterest. The students painted a coffee filter to look like the earth, traced and cut out handprints, and then it was all glued together like their hands were holding our planet. the sign reads "It's all in our hands."
then we used the map we created last week and walked the school looking for garbage cans. Then we put a sticker marking the spot on our map.
there are 18 garbage cans in our school :)
we also watched a Sesame Street episode about Every Bit of Litter Hurts.
and the last part of the day is a secret. we made all kinds of Mother's Day goodies for you but you will have to come to Muffins for Mom on Friday to get them. ;)
