we have had a busy week. along with our regular work we have been finishing up end of the year assessments and getting our portfolios and journals in order.
we are practicing 6's this week.

we watched a YouTube video about front loader and side loader garbage trucks. the boys really liked this!
we walked over to the stadium and let out some energy on the football field. we ran races and searched for numbers and letters!
really gonna miss this girl :(

we read The Adventures of Gary and Harry on last time and then drew them in our journals.

we fingerpainted 6's, too!
we watched Peter's Chair and drew about the story in our journals.
"Peter is well aware that there is a new baby in the house. His mother shushes him when he makes his tower of blocks fall. And he's also well aware that the new baby's a girl. For everything that used to be Peter's has been painted pink! "
we also practiced writing 7's.
and we made Ms. Poole, our music teacher, a special birthday card :)
loved listening to these two play with the animal counters, deciding which ones could swim in the water. :D
