Chemical Waste field trip

we had such a fun time visiting our local Chem Waste in Emelle. it was the perfect way to start wrapping up our Reduce, Reuse, Recycle unit!

the students discussed waste, recycling, and much more. they learned how important it is to put all garbage in a bag because if it is loose, then it will blow around either before it gets to the plant or at the landfill. they played a game to simulate how the wind blows trash around and how difficult it is to pick it all up.

we had such a good time and thank the employees for making our experience such a memorable one!
