this week's snapshot

Monday was a busy day preparing for the White Elephant Sale. The summer big kids organized the sale, made signs, and decided on the pricing.

Then summer big kids paired up with our students and wrote down each student's wish list as they toured the sale in the Science Room.

We also made our props for the music program on Thursday.

Tuesday we completed our campfire number puzzles.

Wednesday we had our final Splash Day for the summer at Jaycee Park.

We made campfires by using straws to blow our paint around...

then added some popsicle sticks for firewood.

Thursday was an exciting day! Livingston had a severe thunderstorm pass through causing an electrical storm. The university closed at 10:00 that morning which means our summer music program was rescheduled for next Thursday. :(

Today we finished up camping. We read stories by our "campfire" this week.

Next week will be all about ice cream with a pj day! A great end to a great summer!
