Today we began learning to write the letter Cc using our castle wipeoff board and with our C play-do mats.

Our discussion and question of the day was about clocks:

We made the tick-tock sound using rhythm sticks and learned Hickory Dickory Dock. We came up with our own rhymes as the clock struck different hours.

We read Jalepeno Bagels this morning which is about a boy

who is trying to decide what to take for his school's International Day. He helps his Mexican mother and Jewish father at their bakery and discovers a food that represents both his parents' backgrounds.

REMINDERS:

Tuesday- Picture Day

 

Please send a picture of your family doing a specific home life activity to school by Wednesday. Examples are preparing a meal, washing dishes, brushing teeth, reading stories, etc… We are discussing time and schedules this week. Dance and gymnastics.

 

Thursday- your child's scrapbook page is due (for our class scrapbook). Pizza Day and Music.
