today's snapshot

We continued learning about the first Thanksgiving today!
We finished up our Thankful Turkeys and began our crafty snack for tomorrow. Here's a sneak peek :)

We also had a special visitor today. Kyle Caldwell, UWA Tigers' quarterback, stopped by to visit while the K4 classes ate lunch and read the students a story before Quiet Time. Miles College will travel to Livingston Saturday to take on the UWA Tigers at Tiger Stadium at noon in the first round of playoffs. Best of luck to Coach Hall, Mr. Kyle, and the rest of the team! We are so proud of you!

The students also played a Scarecrow Roll and Cover Game by Cindy Calenti that I found on Teachers Pay Teachers.

And I also pulled out the fall themed cookie cutters for some Play-do fun! :)

Don't forget tomorrow is Pajama Day!
The school will be closed next week for Thanksgiving Break. :)
