A Hoot of a Kindergarten Class!: what an awesome first day!

We had a great first day! Our schedule went as smooth as it could have and I could not be any prouder! We read The Kissing Hand first thing this morning and discussed how it's ok to be a little nervous on the first day. Today was all about the importance of names. We learned the names of our classmates, the faculty, the centers, and the rooms in the school. We also read A Pocket for Corduroy and talked about why it was important that he had his name on a card inside his new pocket. We discussed what a cool name Humpty Dumpty was.
