What did the daddy tomato say to the baby tomato when he fell behind in the race?

Catch up! And that's what I'm going to do now. Yesterday we practiced writing our letter G's the correct way. This letter is proving to be a little more difficult but we WILL succeed!

And we also had a visit from our Chinese friends from the UWA International Programs. We have tentatively scheduled a walking field trip this Thursday afternoon @ 2 pm. We learned the words for
cow
rabbit
and horse.

We also started our week's discussion on families.  We read A World of Families and made a Venn Diagram comparing our families with those of other cultures. Our conclusion, we are not so different after all! ;)
And then we got to play one of our favorite games, Freeze. I play Kids Rock LOUD and when it stops the students have to freeze in whatever position they are in. We always get some laughs when we play this game! Dance!

Freeze!

Today we continued practicing the motions of the letter G.

We did another Venn Diagram this morning to go with our morning story My Monster Mama Loves Me.
Today's discussion was about the word sibling and what it means.

We have gymnastics and dance tomorrow,
pizza day, music, and walking field trip to the UWA International House Thursday,
and science on Friday.
