milk jug butterflies

So, we took our "junk" from this morning and created something new...milk jug butterflies! I found this activity on alphamom's website. Check her out!

I cut out the side panels and used her template to trace the different butterflies with a black Sharpie.

Then the students used colored permanent markers to color the butterfly they chose.

I wanted to let them cut them out but I thought the material might be too thick for kid scissors. They turned out so awesome!
