family tree sneak peek ;-)

These are the family trees we made for Grandparents' day and they are so cute I cannot keep them a secret! I love, love, love when I have awesome, crafty ideas pop in my head. And this one did at nap today. I knew I was doing a family tree but this just came together beautifully.

I used an outline I found on Yahoo Images.

Then I cut the trees from scrapbook paper and the student glued it to their paper.

Each student glued on real leaves. I cut out leaves using the Cricut with green paper and wrote a family member name on each leaf. Then each student glued the name leaves on.

Add a little lamination and...voila! Super cute!
