WHAT AN AWESOME FIRST DAY!!!! Since we are a year-round school, we have the same kids from August-August. So as wonderful as today was, it was also bittersweet to see my old students in their new rooms learning their new routines. I had 6 of my 9 students start today. 5 of the 6 have been here for months in the other P-3 room. Today we discussed the importance of rules and created our own class rules. We also toured the classroom and discussed the many centers. :)
