We had an awesome first day of school yesterday. Thanks so much for making this a great day for all of us. I wanted to remind you all of a few things for this week and the rest of the school year. :) :) :)
On Wednesday, August 12, we will hold the Carol Merrill Academy of Dance and Gymnastics (CMA) Student Orientation at 10:00a.m. I understand that some of you will be attending the UWA General Meeting at this time. You are not required to be present in order for your child to register for CMA. We will place registration forms in all mailboxes. I hope this helps with the conflict :)
On Thursday, August 20, we will have an Open-house (for all ages) and Parent Orientation Session (Required for all OSR students) from 5:00-6:00p.m. This will count towards parental involvement hours.
A few reminders from our handbook:
Please remember that children are not allowed to bring sippy cups.
All K-5 students need to be present by 8:00 so they are not counted tardy. We are required to keep attendance and wanted to make you aware of this policy. Children in the OSR Pre-K are also strongly encouraged to arrive by 8:00.
Please make sure if your child needs to eat breakfast that he/she arrives early enough to eat breakfast and be in the classroom with his/her teacher by 8:00a.m. We start our morning routine at this time and don't want the children to miss out on an integral part of the day.
