this morning we practiced writing z's in our salt tray.
and practiced our music for the end of the year program.
Mr. Drew, our PE clinical student, had the students working on hand eye coordination using bean bags this morning.
I loved walking around and listening to these girls at the writing stations during gross motor!
we also went back to Tuesday's question of the day and measured how tall the students were and compared their estimations.
some were very close!
we watched our eBook Who Lives in Trees?
and played say it, show it. I would hold up a number and they would have to show me that number. they got creative!

I asked the students to close their eyes and listen as I read them a poem about a tree...
then I asked them to draw what they saw in their minds with their imaginations.
we got in one more question of the day before we had to leave because of weather.
we read Pablo's Tree.
"In a heartwarming intergenerational story, Pablo cannot wait to visit his grandfather and discover what treasures will be placed on his tree, a tree that was purchased when Pablo was adopted and that, each year, is decorated with special surprises."
what would you put on Pablo's tree?
