yesterday's post

we had soccer practice with two members of the UWA Women's Soccer Team :)
the students practiced passing... 




                                                                     
and dribbling. 


then they played a game where they had to listen to what their coach was saying and do the opposite. for example, if she said head, the students caught the ball.


then we watched Henny Penny eBook 
question of the day:
does this food grow on trees? (bananas) 







we practiced writing Xx the correct way

and wrote in our journals: What fell from the sky in Henny Penny?





we also did egg glyphs which are a great activity for following directions. I found these for free {here}.







and we pulled out the Egg Day sensory tub :)

today's snapshot

our morning meeting story

this morning we practiced writing Ww the correct way





and played a number game. the students had to decide with nest had the most eggs and lead the bird to it.

we also finished up our Hop Along game.


we had the opportunity to receive some soccer lessons at PE today!

we watched Who Lives In Trees? eBook and made a chart of animals, birds, and insects that live in trees. 


and we got our sillies out by playing Freeze Dance :)
