last summer post :(

We have been winding things down this week. Today is the last day of summer here at the Campus School. I would like to thank each family for allowing their child to come here this summer. I have been a blessed teacher this summer and have enjoyed each moment spent with your child. Best of luck for the new school year!

Tueday Caroline celebrated her 5th birthday with us! We love you, Caroline!

We had our Summer Music Program and Open House yesterday.

The students sang songs from around the globe. They did an Irish jig and an African dance,

sang a song from Jamaica using maracas,

sang a song from the USA,

and sang a song from China with Chinese dragon puppets.

Argh, matey!

Today was Pajama Day and Ice Cream Friday. We watched Peter Pan during nap and voted on our favorite flavor of ice cream at snack. :)

Chinese students visit

Our firends from the UWA International Programs visited us today. They read us a book and helped us make kites!

A Sari Day!

Today Dr. Minear's Methods for Teaching Language Arts class visited the P-3 classes. They were discussing thematic units and this particular unit was on India. One student read us a story while others put saris on the students. Then each student was paired with a college student and they read and looked at books about India.
