rest of last week

we practiced one last time correctly forming #7 on the smartboard.

and learned the correct formation of #8.


















in limited centers, the students played a Recycle! game...


wrote in their journals about Dinosaur Woods...




"Rojo and his pals have a problem: The forest where they live is about to be torn down and replaced with a Plas-Tic Trees factory. The animals are at a loss, until they come up with a plan to scare away the builders using sticks, burlap, power tools—and a gigantic dinosaur. Have these seven endangered friends got what it takes to save their home? Turns out they do . . . in ways they never expected."

played a ping pong chicks game- the students had to identify a number and place that many chickens in their nest. 


and explored with play-dough and spring cookie cutters.



the K4 classes also decorated the front yard with an Easter egg tree :D













the students also worked on their self-portraits!


and we are practicing now for the End of the Year program next month!


t-ball practice has begun! 
Ms. Brooke and I painted eye black on all of the students, playing or not!







Friday was our annual Egg Hunt!





it was hard snapping a picture of every student! they were running everywhere! :D
















after the hunt, we had a yummy party!
thank you to all parents who provided for us!












and we even had a special visitor...Clifford the Big Red Dog!!!
