end of the week

This has been such a busy week! We have had something extra to do every day this week!

Yesterday we walked over to the Bibb Graves Auditorium to watch Sleeping Beauty.

The students really seemed to enjoy this play!

When we got back to the classroom I asked the students what their favorite part of the play was.

Kaitlyn A- "Sleeping Beauty was asleep and the guy kissed her."

Kennadi- "When Sleeping Beauty had a king."

Kaitlyn G- "When she fell asleep."

Tripp- "The king."

Rebecca- "The prince."

Addison- "When she went to sleep."

 

After music this morning, the students had their Chinese lesson. Today they learned

eyes: yan jing

ears: er duo

mouth: zui bah

nose: bee zi

head: tou

We sang Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes in English and Chinese!

Our friends brought some Chinese candy to share!

Then we learned to count to 10 on our fingers in Chinese. We learned that they do not use two hands to count to 10 like we do, only one hand.
