I saw this idea on Pinterest and plaster of Paris was supposed to be used but Wal-Mart doesn't seem to have it anymore. So...we traced our hands instead and it turned out great!

Miss UWA visits

Miss UWA visited today and read some Christmas stories. The children told her if they had been naughty or nice and what they wanted Santa to bring them. We really enjoyed her visit!

Caroling at the Nursing Home

We loaded up yesterday morning before the rain came and performed our Holiday program at the local Nursing Home. It was such a joy to sing for such wonderful people. :)

Marshmallow Snowman

We finished up our marshmallow snowmen today! This idea came from Happy Home Fairy's blog. Check them out! First I drew circles so the students would know where to place the snowflakes...

Then the students dipped a marshmallow in white paint and stamped snowflakes on their papers. I added a dash of glitter...

Next they glued marshmallows on the circles to make the snowmen...

Add a hat and some arms. I wanted to glue sticks on for arms but it rained today.

I found lots of great sensory tub ideas on Totally Tots' blog. This tub contains split peas, star ornaments, and small red ball ornaments.
