recycled owls

Sorry for not posting yesterday, the internet was down on campus off and on. But we are back up and running. Yesterday we made recycled owls with paper towel tubes and scrapbook paper scraps. I found this idea on a bird and a bean's website. Check them out!

Step 1: cute tube into thirds

Step 2: fold half of the top down, and the other half in. I hot glued the flaps down.

Step 3: paint desired color. I let the kiddos choose.

Step 4: cut out wings and beak from scrap paper and glue on dried owl. glue on eyes.
